Happy New Year!


It's a new year and programs are back in full swing! 


Weekly storytimes are BACK! 
Weekly storytimes start January 8th and run through April. Plenty of time to join the fun!

Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays, starting January 8th at 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - Explore different themes through stories, songs, a craft, and a snack! For children ages 3 1/2 - 6 years old, with or without a caregiver.
*Join Pleasant Hills Mayor Bill Trimbath for a special storytime on Tuesday, January 15th at 10:30 am!

Baby Book Nook - Wednesdays, starting January 9th at 10:30 & 11:30 am - Nursery and action rhymes, songs, books, and so much more! For children birth - 2 years old, with a caregiver.

TOT Time - Thursdays, starting January 10th at 10:30 am - Learn and grow with stories and songs, finger plays, a craft and a snack! For children ages 2 - 3 1/3 years old, with a caregiver.

No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

We Are All Neighbors Potluck Dinner ~ Thursday, January 10 at 6:00 pm ~ Come enjoy a potluck dinner at the library! Enjoy a meal in good company and get some new ideas to try at home. January is National Soup Month so bring your favorite soup along with copies of the recipe to share. The library will provide beverages, rolls, bowls and cutlery. Plan to bring your soup in a crockpot to keep it warm! All ages welcome! Please register by calling or stopping in the library and provide our

Introduction to KinderFlute ~ Monday, January 14 at 6:30 pm ~ Join KinderFlute instructor Katie Shesko for a free introductory class designed to teach children to love music while also learning how to play a flute. Through learning to listen, producing a beautiful tone, reading music, composing, and creatively expressing themselves, students are firing areas of the brain to make learning in all areas more productive. Movement and games are a major component of what makes learning the flute through KinderFlute effective! Recommended for families with children ages 4 and up. Please register!

Preschool STEAM: Snow Science ~ Wednesday, January 16 from 1:30 — 2:15 pm ~   Winter is here! Explore snow and other winter weather using science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We’ll start with a story then move around to various activity stations. For children ages 2—5, with a caregiver. Please register!

Marble Maze Run ~ Monday, January 28 from 4:00 — 5:00 pm ~ Can you build a marble run
that’s bigger than you? Join us as we work together to build a gigantic marble maze run using a variety of supplies. For children in grades 1—5. Please register!

Lego Extravaganza Club ~ Wednesday, January 30 from 4:00 — 5:00 pm ~ Calling all Lego
fans! Come build with us on the last Wednesday of every month! Build whatever you want and when you’re done, we’ll put it up on display. For children ages 3 and up. No registration necessary—just show up ready for fun!

HEY TEENS! Come hang out at the Library for these awesome programs just for you!
For students in grades 6—12. No registration necessary—just show up ready for fun!

Teen Games ’N@ ~ Thursdays, January 10 & 24 from 3:30 — 4:30 pm ~ Challenge your friends to a game of Mario Kart, Uno, and so much more! Stuff your face with pizza and other delicious snacks!

Classic Cartoons ~ Thursday, January 17 from 3:30 — 4:30 pm ~ Come watch some oldies
but goodies! Enjoy snacks while relaxing with friends!
