May...when it's almost summer, but not quite...

Weekly Storytimes are about to end....that is, of course, until they return in June!!!


Preschool Storytime - Tuesday, April 25 @ 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - For children ages 3 1/2 to 6 years old, with or without a caregiver.
**Returning June 6th!**

Baby Book Nook - Wednesday, April 26 @ 10:30 & 11:30 am - For children birth to 2 years old, with a caregiver.
**Returning June 7th!**

TOT Time - Thursday, April 27 @ 10:30 am - For children ages 2 to 3 1/2 years old, with a caregiver.
**Returning June 8th!**

HEY TEENS! We offer some pretty cool programs just for you!
Anime Club - Thursdays, April 20 & May 18 @ 3:30 pm - Join fellow enthusiasts on the third Thursday of every month to watch some anime, sample Japanese snacks, and talk about manga. For teens in grades 6 - 12. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

Free Practice SAT Test with Princeton Review - Saturday, April 22 from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm - Join the folks from the Princeton Review for a free full-length practice SAT exam. Get a feel for the real exam before you take it! For teens in grades 9 - 12. Please register by calling the Library or visiting www.princetonreview.com/events

Games N@ - Thursday, May 11 @ 3:30 pm - We're breaking out the best classic and new board games including Settlers of Catan, Fluxx, and Zombie Dice just to name a few! And just for fun, we'll set up the Wii too! Plus there will be snacks! For teens in grades 6 - 12. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

Which was Better: Book VS. Movie Family Book Club - Mondays, April 24 & May 22 @ 6:00 pm - Read a classic children's book together as a family then come watch the movie adaptation at the library! We'll snack on popcorn and punch while we discuss the similarities and differences and ultimately decide which was better! Recommended for families with children ages 5 and older. Please register!

Lego Extravaganza Club - Wednesdays, April 26 & May 31 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Calling all Lego fans! Come build with us on the last Wednesday of every month! Build whatever you want and when you're done, we'll put it up on display! For children ages 3 and up. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

PJ Family Storytime: Mother Goose is on the Loose - Monday, May 1 from 7:00 - 7:45 pm - It's Mother Goose Day! Join us for stories featuring all of Mother Goose's crazy characters, silly songs, fun games, an awesome craft, and a delicious snack! Wear your PJs and bring a stuffed friend to join in the fun! Family program. Please register!

May the Fourth Be With You: Crafts & Games - Thursday, May 4 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - In a galaxy far, far away...actually, the Library isn't that far away at all! Join us for crafts, games, and other fun activities that will celebrate the beloved franchise that is Star Wars! Move from station to station to become the ultimate Jedi Master. For children ages 4 and up, with or without a caregiver. Please register!

Mom & Me Spa Night @ the Library - Monday, May 8 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm - Children are invited to bring their favorite leading lady to the Library for an exquisite night of pampering! We'll make bath bombs, body scrubs, and paint our nails! Enjoy refreshments while delighting in each others company. A $2 donation per person is requested and will be collected at the event. Recommended for children ages 6 and up, with an adult. Please register!

Learn How to Play Chess - Tuesday, May 16 from 4:00 - 5:30 pm - Learn the art of chess from a U.S. Candidate Master! David Donohoe will teach us some basic strategy and tactics then we'll play a few rounds. For children and teens in grades 4 - 12. Please register!
