Long time, no post...

We've been so busy having fun that we totally forgot to post here in our blog! We're sorry!

Come see what's keeping us busy at the library...


Weekly Storytimes run NOW through the end of November! Come join in the fun!
Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays @ 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - For children ages 3 1/2 - 6 years old, with or without a caregvier.
Baby Book Nook - Wednesdays @ 10:30 & 11:30 am - For children ages birth - 2 years old, with a caregiver.
TOT Time - Thursdays @ 10:30 am - For children ages 2 - 3 1/2 years old, with a caregiver.


THE DOGS ARE COMING BACK TO THE LIBRARY!
Tail Waggin' Tutors - Monday, October 10 @ 7:00 pm - Trained therapy dogs will be here hoping to hear a story or two! Practice your reading skills while enjoying the company of some furry friends! Make a fun Halloween themed craft or two while you wait for your turn. For children ages 4 and up. Reading ability encouraged but not required. Please register.


HEY TEENS! It's almost

Celebrate Teen Read Week, October 10 - 15, with a different fun and exciting make-n-take in the teen department every day! 

Also make sure to check out 
Teen Games N@ - Thursday, October 13 @ 3:30 pm - Ever played Fluxx? How about Zombie Dice? Coe learn how to play a variety of enjoyable board and card games. And just for fun, we'll est up the Wii too. Plus there will be snacks! For teens in grades 6 - 12. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

It's Teen Read Week!!!

 
Seek the Unknown! October 13 - 19 is Teen Read Week at the library!!
Celebrate reading with a slew of activities that are out of this world!!!
All activities below are for teens in grades 6 - 12.
No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!
 
 
Mystery Make-N-Takes - Monday - Saturday, October 14 - 19 - Stop by the teen department every day to see what the daily make-n-take activity is! Make a variety of awesome things you can take home!
 
Kick-Off Party: Alien Encounters - Monday, October 14 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Aliens have landed at the library! Explore outer space by making your own alien spaceship and gear to transform yourself into an extraterrestrial! Enjoy games, snacks, and more!
 
Teen Craft: Origami Creatures - Wednesday, October 16 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Learn how to make a variety of silly and spooky creatures using origami!
 
Edible Book Art Contest - Saturday, October 19 - Using anything that's edible, create a piece of delicious art representing your favorite book, literary character, or author! Entries can be dropped off anytime during regular hours on Saturday and the winner will be chosen during our Finale Party.
 
Finale Party: Seeking Unknown Awesomeness - Saturday, October 19 from 2:30 - 3:30 pm - We'll unlock the mysteries of the universe by stuffing our faces with awesome food, playing truly awesome games, and making a few awesome crafts! The winner of the Edible Book Art Contest will be chosen and all entries (with their creator's permission, of course!) will be devoured!
