Back to School, Back to Fall Programs

Summer flew by! We had such a great time with Summer Reading Club that we lost track of Summer and now it's almost Fall!

School's back in session but the fun at the library doesn't stop! Check out these awesome programs happening in September!

Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays, Now through October 13th @ 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - Explore different themes through stories, songs, a craft, and a snack! For children ages 3 1/2 to 6 years old, with or without a caregiver. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun! *PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO STORYTIME ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th!*

Evening Baby Book Nook - Tuesday, September 1st @ 7:00 pm - Join Miss Terry in the evening for nursery and action rhymes, books, songs, and so much more! For children birth to 2 years old, with a caregiver. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

Baby Book Nook - Wednesdays, Now through October 14th @ 10:30 am - Nursery and action rhymes, books, songs, and so much more! For children birth to 2 years old, with a caregiver. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

TOT Time - Thursdays, Now through October 15th @ 10:30 am - Learn and grow with stories, songs, finger plays, fun activities, and a snack! For children ages 2 to 3 1/2 years old, with a caregiver. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

PJ Family Storytime: Elephants Never Forget - Monday, September 14th @ 7:00 pm - Elephants never forget to bring their library card to the library! Find out what else elephants never forget with stories, songs, games, crafts, and a delicious snack! Fun for the whole family! Please register!

Taco Tuesday: Middle School Book Group - Tuesday, September 15th @ 6:30 pm - This month we'll be reading Alida's Song by Gary Paulsen. Bring a friend of two and join Miss Terry for lively discussion and delicious snacks! Request your copy of this month's selection at the circulation desk. For students in grades 6 - 8. Please register!

Anime Club - Thursday, September 17th @ 4:00 pm - Do you enjoy anime and manga? Then you won't want to miss our fun anime club! Come watch anime, sample Japanese snacks, and talk with fellow enthusiasts! For students in grades 6 - 12. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

Pirate Party - Saturday, September 19th @ 2:00 pm - Yarr! September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Get into the pirate spirit with stories, games, crafts, and some delectable grub! Fun for the whole family! Please register!

Preschool STEM: Up in the Air - Monday, September 21st @ 3:15 pm - Come discover science, technology, engineering, and mathematics found in bubbles and airplanes with stories and hands-on activities designed to engage young minds. For children ages 2 - 5, with a caregiver. Please register!

1940's Games for Kids - Wednesday, September 23rd @ 4:00 pm - Help the library celebrate its 70th anniversary by learning about games that were popular with kids back then! Learn how to play marbles and jacks! Winners can take home their spoils - but everyone will get to take home at least one marble. For children in Kindergarten - 5th Grade. Please register!

Tail Waggin' Tutors - Monday, September 28th @ 7:00 pm - Trained therapy dogs will be here hoping to hear a story or two! Practice your reading skills while enjoying the company of some furry friends! For children ages 4 and up - reading ability encouraged but not required. Please register!

Lego Extravaganza Club - Wednesday, September 30th @ 4:00 pm - Calling all Lego fans! Come build with us! We'll have Legos you can use, but feel free to bring your own too! All of our creations will be put up on display at the end of our session. For children ages 3 and up. Please register!
