Time sure does fly when you're having fun! And we're having tons of fun at Pleasant Hills Library! While February might be coming to a close, March is just around the corner!

Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays @ 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - Explore different themes through stories, songs, crafts, and a snack! For children ages 3 1/2 to 6 years old, with or without a caregiver.
Baby Book Nook - Wednesdays @ 10:30 am - Nursery and action rhymes, songs, books, and so much more! For children birth to 2 years old, with a caregiver.
TOT Time - Thursdays @ 10:30 am - Learn and grow with stories, songs, finger plays, fun activities and a snack! For children ages 2 to 3 1/2 years old, with a caregiver.

After School Adventures continue!

For children in Kindergarten - 5th grade. Please register!

 

Green Fun - Wednesday, March 13th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - March is all about the color green! Let's explore the many shades of green through art and science activities! We might get a little messy so please wear appropriate painting attire. A $1 donation, per child, is requested.
Paper Flowers - Wednesday, March 20th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Spring is finally here! Let's celebrate by using origami techniques to create a bouquet of beautiful flowers that will last forever! We'll also create a sampling of origami animals that wake up in the Spring!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss - Saturday, March 2nd from 12:00 - 3:00 pm - We're celebrating Read Across America with a special birthday party for Dr. Seuss! Teachers from McClellan Elementary will be here to help with the festivities! Enjoy games, snacks, and crafts from 12:00 - 2:00, with stories read by special guest readers from 2:00 - 3:00. Fun for the whole family! Please register!
Chick-fil-A Family Craft Night - Tuesday, March 5th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm - Stop by Chick-fil-A on Route 51 to make a fun craft, play a silly game, and enjoy a free kids 4 piece nugget or strip meal!* No registration necessary, drop by anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 pm! *Free kids meal with purchase of adult combo or entree salad.* This program will take place at Chick-fil-A Restaurant located at 461 Clairton Blvd (Route 51).*
Family Egg Hunt Extravaganza! - Sunday, March 24th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm - A mischievous bunny has hidden eggs throughout the entire library and we need your help to find them! Join us for games, crafts, snacks, and an extreme egg hunt! Fun for the whole family! A $2 donation, per child, is requested. *Library doors will open at 1:45 pm!* Please register!
PJ Family Storytime: Very Hungry Caterpillars - Monday, March 25th from 7:00 - 7:45 pm - Caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies! We'll explore their metamorphosis with stories, songs, games, crafts, and a scrumptious snack sure to please even the hungriest of caterpillars! Wear your PJs! Fun for the whole family! No registration necessary.

Hey Teens! Check out what's happening...

For students in grades 6 - 12. No registration necessary.

 

Teen Movie Night - Monday, March 4th from 6:00 - 8:15 pm - Let's get together over pizza to enjoy a movie! After the birth of their daughter, the Cullens' must work with other vampire clans to protect their family. Don't miss the last movie in this epic series! Film Rated PG -13.
Teen Gaming Tournament - Monday, March 11th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Let's play! We'll have a Wii set up with a variety of fun games to try out! Please feel free to bring a favorite game from home to show off!
