Weekly Storytimes are back!!
Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays, January 2 - April 24 @ 10:30 am & 1:30 pm - Explore different themes through stories, songs, a craft, and a snack! For children ages 3 1/2 - 6 years old, with or without a caregiver.
Baby Book Nook - Wednesdays, January 3 - April 25 @ 10:30 & 11:30 am - Nursery and action rhymes, songs, books, and so much more! For children birth - 2 years old, with a caregiver.
TOT Time - Thursdays, January 4 - April 26 @ 10:30 am - Learn and grow with stories, songs, finger plays, fun activities, and a snack! For children ages 2 - 3 1/2 years old, with a caregiver.

Teen Games ’N@ ~ Thursday, January 11 from 3:30 — 4:30 pm ~ Stuff your face with pizza and other delicious snacks while playing a wide variety of board, card, and Wii games while hanging out with friends. For students in grades 6—12. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!
Handprint Flower Fundraiser ~ Monday, January 15 at 6:00 pm ~ Would you like to help the library while also being a part of library history? Join Lynne Mack, local artist, who will be sharing her talents for a spectacular way to leave your mark on the library walls! For a donation of $25, your handprint will grace our space as a beautiful flower. All proceeds benefit our library. Fun for the whole family! Please register!
Parenting Help: Encouraging Speech and Language Development at Home ~ Tuesdays, January 16 & 30 at 6:00 pm ~ Join Jill Shook, a speech-language pathologist, to learn about speech and language development and milestones. During our first session, we’ll cover milestones to watch out for, what speech therapy is, and if your child would benefit. During the second session, we’ll talk about how to encourage speech development at home and answer your questions. Children are welcome to attend with their parents. Preschool Dance Party ~ Wednesday, January 17 from 1:30—2:00 pm ~ Come dance your winter blues away at our Library! We’ll dance to a variety of music, use fun props, and work up a sweat while having an awesome time! For children ages 2 and up, with a caregiver. Please register!
Chapter Chat: Teen Book Club ~ Thursday, January 18 at 3:30 pm ~ We’re starting a new book club just for teens! The first book will be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. If you haven’t already read this one, read the book prior to our meeting (watching the movie doesn’t count!) then come for lively discussion and snacks related to the book’s theme. Extra copies of each month’s title will be available at the library. For students in grades 6—12. Registration is requested, but not required.
Tail Waggin’ Tutors ~ Monday, January 22 from 7:00 — 8:00 pm ~ Trained therapy dogs will be here hoping to hear a story or two! Practice your reading skills while enjoying the company of some furry friends! Make a fun craft or two while waiting for your turn. For children ages 4 and up — reading ability encouraged but not required. Please register!
Which was Better: Book VS. Movie Family Book Club ~ Monday, January 29 at 6:00 pm ~ Before our meeting, read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum as a family. We’ll talk about the book and then watch the movie while snacking on popcorn and punch! After the movie we’ll decide which we liked better and why. Extra copies of each month’s title will be available at the circulation desk. Recommended for families with children ages 5 and up. Please register!
Lego Extravaganza Club ~ Wednesday, January 31 from 4:00 — 5:00 pm ~ Calling all Lego fans! Come build with us on the last Wednesday of every month! Build whatever you want and when you’re done we’ll put it up on display. For children ages 3 and up. No registration necessary—just show up ready for fun!
