WHY SHOULD I SIGN MY YOUNG CHILD UP FOR SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES?
Have you ever tried to sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" without the hand motions? It just doesn't feel right! Actions help children remember words to a song or a finger play because there is muscle memory involved. Young children love movement and actions. Sign language caters to both. Research shows that children find sign language fun and children retain what they learn through fun, engaging activities. So come join us on Tuesdays, Sept. 15 and 22 @ 10:30. Suggested ages 2-6 years. Please sign up at the front desk or call 412-655-2424.
