Read Across America
READ ACROSS AMERICA is a program of the National Education Association that encourages children to read. McClellan Elementary School, of the West Jefferson Hills School District, will be kicking off RAA on Monday, February 2nd with an all school Silent Sustained Reading session. During the month of February students at McClellan Elementary School and their parents will be encouraged to visit the Pleasant Hills Library, where books for all ages are at your fingertips! Students of McClellan Elementary may fill out a raffle ticket each time they visit the library during the month of February, for a chance to win a weekly prize. The RAA program will finish up on Monday, March 2nd (Dr. Seuss's birthday!) with two assemblies at McClellan Elementary School. Betsy Marolt will be performing as Marian the Seussical Librarian.
