April showers bring May flowers! (Hopefully, anyway)

Even through it doesn't always feel like it outside, we're excited that it's SPRING!!

Chapter Chat: Teen Book Club - Thursday, April 19 @ 3:30 pm - This month we're reading our favorites! Read your favorite young adult book and come prepared to convince everyone that it's the best book ever written! There will also be snacks. For teens in grades 6 - 12. Registration requested but not required.

Lego Extravaganza Club - Wednesdays, April 25 & May 30 @ 4:00 pm - Calling all Lego fans! Come build with us on the last Wednesday of every month! Build whatever you want and when you're done we'll put it up on display. For children ages 3 and up. No registration necessary - just show up ready for fun!

Teen Smoothie Making Competition - Wednesday, April 25 @ 6:30 pm - Do you have what it takes to make the most delicious smoothie in the world? Test your smoothie making skills against your friends to find out who can make the best one. A $5 donation per person is requested and will be collected at the event. For teens in grades 6 - 12. Please register!

SAT Strategy Session with The Princeton Review - Saturday, April 28 @ 1:00 pm - Learn everything there is to know about the SAT exam! A Princeton Review expert will talk about how to properly manage your time, process of elimination when answering questions, what to expect before taking the exam, and score-rising strategies you can use on test day. Which was Better? Book VS. Movie Family Book Club - Monday, April 30 @ 6:00 pm - Before our meeting, read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll as a family. We'll talk about the book and then watch the movie while snacking on popcorn and punch! After the movie we'll decide which we liked better and why. Extra copies of each month's selection are available at the circulation desk. Recommended for families with children ages 5 and up. Please register!
